  It was a special celebration for us and we selected from the three-course menu, which we thought was terrific value, with lots of surprising, lovely extra touches. All courses were faultless and the staff were really pleasant, helpful and communicated well. On a side note, at 7pm we were shown to our table that was right beside another couple, when there was lots of room elsewhere. We asked if we could move and it wasn't a problem. A second table looked inviting, but we were told it was already booked; however no one showed up during the 2+ hours we were there. We settled for a third table, but I soon realised I was facing a display case containing perspex, a framed staff photo plate and other restaurant awards when there were lovely art pieces elsewhere. I'd like to suggest that the awards be relocated as they're very out of place at present. Despite this, I have no hesitation in awarding a 5* rating.
